Raymond holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Joseph University - Beirut and an MBA from the American University of Beirut.

He started his career in insurance in 1981 when he joined Société Nationale d’Assurances - SNA, and reached the position of AGM.

In 1996, Allianz Group acquired SNA and Raymond played a regional role until he moved to Egypt as CEO and Board member of Allianz Life and Chairman of Allianz Non Life.

In 2012, Raymond joined Nasco Insurance Group in Lebanon as Board member and CEO of Bankers Assurance.

At present, he is a Board member at Arabia Insurance SAL, Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He is also Board member at Arabia Insurance - Jordan and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
